Dr. Maksym Breslavets
Dr. Breslavets completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Toronto. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Breslavets has extensive training in medical and surgical dermatology and his professional affiliations include the Canadian Dermatology Association, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Ontario Medical Association and Canadian Medical Association. Dr. Breslavets graduated and obtained his MD Degree from the Donetsk National Medical University (Ukraine) and completed postgraduate training in Dermatology there as well. Subsequently, he received the PhD degree in Dermatology (Ukraine). His research interest involved assessment of biomechanical properties of skin, heart rate variability analysis, and eicosanoids levels in patients with morphea and systemic sclerosis. During his PhD research Dr Breslavets developed a novel method of skin assessment based on spectral analysis of skin autooscillations.
Dr. Breslavets has dual Northern American and European training in Dermatology that allows him to bring this unique expertise and experience to the care of his patients.
Dr. Breslavets is the Medical Director and Founder of the Centre for Medical and Surgical Dermatology.
